The most common genre is surely the most popular music, popular music as one of the best known. Pop music is a musical form that emerged from the rock and roll beat music and folk and eventually was made popular by the Beatles. The now produced for the majority of pop music refers not only to its origin, but interprets various contemporary music styles. The success of the commercially oriented pop music is measured in the charts that exist worldwide. Pop music has become the most commercially lucrative branch of the music industry, as these in the global radio stations is most common. In America, the country music is extremely popular. Country singers and country singers are all in the U.S., the most successful artists. A typical feature is the custom in American living standards texts, which are often personal and topical. Traditionally used primarily string instruments like guitars, banjos, mandolins, or a simple violin. Another genre is the so-called house music. From this type of music are derived from, other styles of music. Here, old pop songs are reinterpreted as the remix dancefloor and played in the discos. Not uncommon to get DJ’s already known singers. Classical music goes back to the early Middle Ages and has continued to develop. Die gängigste Musikrichtung ist sicherlich die Unterhaltungsmusik, zu der die Popmusik als am bekanntesten zählt. Die Popmusik ist ein Musikform, die aus dem Rock´n´Roll der Beatmusik und dem Folk entstand und letztendlich von den Beatles populär gemacht wurde. Die nun für die Mehrheit produzierte Popmusik bezieht sich nicht nur auf ihre Ursprung, sondern interpretiert verschiedene aktuelle Musikstile. Der Erfolg der kommerziell ausgerichteten Popmusik misst sich in den Charts, die es weltweit gibt. Popmusik ist heute der kommerziell lukrativste Zweig der Musikindustrie, da diese auf den globalen Radiosendern am meisten verbreitet wird. In Amerika ist die Country Musik extrem populär. Countrysänger und Countrysängerinnen sind in den USA die erfolgreichsten Künstler überhaupt. Ein typisches Merkmal sind die auf amerikanische Lebensverhältnisse angepasste Texte, die sehr oft persönlich und aktuell sind. Traditionell werden hauptsächlich Saiteninstrumente wie Gitarren, Banjos, Mandolinen oder eine einfache Geige benutzt.
Eine weitere Musikrichtung ist die sogenannte House Musik. Aus dieser Art der Musik leiten sich auch weitere Stilrichtungen der Musik ab. Hier werden alte Popsongs neu interpretiert und als Remix tanztauglich in den Discotheken gespielt. Nicht selten holen sich DJ´s dazu bereits bekannte Sänger und Sängerinnen.
Die klassische Musik geht bis ins frühe Mittelalter zurück und hat sich bis heute weiterentwickelt. Dennoch finden wir die schönsten Stücke der alten Meister immer noch auf der Beliebtheitsskala ganz oben.
